The Bill Reagan scholarship was established after the passing of President/CEO Bill Reagan in July 2013. Bill was a firm believer in education as the road to achieving life's goals. Bill was a multi-faceted man who was the best he could be in everything he touched. From his record breaking power lifting hobby to his passion for improving the lives of all those he met, he was a giant. Bill never knew a stranger.
The Bill Reagan scholarship will be granted to two recipients each year in the amount of $500 each. To be eligible, the applicant must be enrolled in a post-high school program with the intention of majoring in special education or social work. In addition, individuals with disabilities who are enrolled in a post-high school program are also eligible to receive this scholarship.
If you would like additional information, please contact Chelsey Markle at the Arc of Southeast Iowa. All scholarship applications are due by April 1, 2019.
