Continual growth and education are key for our employees. And ongoing training is part of our philosophy. As an employee, you’ll have the opportunity to attend applicable training programs on a regular basis. This is augmented by on the job training from direct supervisors.

 

Student Employment

If you’re a student pursuing a college degree, you’ll find part-time and substitute opportunities with The Arc. Your work schedule can be planned around school schedules and semester breaks. And the skills you learn can transfer to a future career opportunity anywhere after graduation.

 

Positions Available (updated 3/26/24)

Direct Support Professionals are responsible to provide direct quality services to individuals with disabilities in their own home, work site, or in the community and to promote independence, growth, and development.

Part-time Job Coach is responsible for providing quality supports to individuals with disabilities in their place of community employment promoting skill development, growth, independence, and good employer relations.

Summer Camp Counselor is responsible to provide a fun camp experience for the children while ensuring their safety. Camp Counselors will implement outlined daily activities and achieve program goals. Summer camp runs from June 10, 2024-June 28 2024 and July 8, 2024-August 9, 2024 Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.

Part-time Assistant Teacher is responsible for providing supportive quality care to children with and without disabilities, promoting safety, health, and well-being, independence, growth, and development for all participants at The Bill Reagan Children’s Center.
