The Arc of Southeast Iowa offers onsite respite opportunities through our scheduled group activities calendar for school-aged students and young adults. Children and teens with disabilities get the chance to interact with peers at group respite through:
- Structured play
- Recreation
- Therapeutic activities
During group respite, caregivers get a short break from care and supervision.
Current Group sessions:
- Friday Movie Nights 6-8pm
- Saturday Teen Group (ages 12-21) 12:30-4:30pm
- Sunday Kids Group (ages 6-11) 12:30-4:30pm
